The ActiveView360 Process
Once you've selected SurveyConnect and ActiveView 360 to help with your 360 degree assessment, this is the process we use to go from idea to implementation. There are basically four steps to go live:
- You design the 360-degree feedback assessment, and send the content to SurveyConnect in a Word document (Excel is fine too). We can supply you with many sample questions and competencies as requested. SurveyConnect loads this content into a portal create for you on our web servers.
- SurveyConnect sends you default introductory text, directions and email notification text – you review this text, modify it, and send it back to SurveyConnect. SurveyConnect loads this text into the website.
- We have a phone call to discuss configurable parameters on the site (e.g., do you want the questions required, what labels would you like for your relationships, what scale do you want to use for the assessment).
- All participants and raters in the process are generally determined ahead of time. You will provide SurveyConnect with a list of names and email addresses and relationships for both the participants and raters in electronic format, and SurveyConnect will input the data. Alternatively, you can send SurveyConnect the list of participants to be rated, and the participants will be able to enter their raters online.
Reports:
After assessments are submitted, reports will be available online according to a business rule specifying a minimum number of raters that participants must have before seeing the results. The assessment administrator selects a variety of sections for their report from a list of available report sections. The ActiveView system will link these sections into one report, and create a PDF of that report. The individual results will be made available to the assessment administrator(s) or managers for report generation.
Reports choices include:
- mean scores by topics (competencies) and questions,
- gap reports,
- unfavorableneutralfavorable reports by topics and questions,
- response breakouts,
- individual mean scores compared to the group’s mean score, and
- open-ended comments.
Aggregate reports by the total group and by demographic groups are also available for each deployment.
